All patients will be privately billed except for those with a concession card (pensioner card, health care card, or disability pension) or under 16 years old. Dr Kichkin is willing to negotiate with her patients

Dear patients,
Please be advised that due to the current economic climate with Medicare
rebates not substantially indexed for the past 30 years it is no longer financially
viable to bulk bill all patients at all times.
From 1 September 2023, all consultations with Dr Ata Kichkin, Dr Jonathan Barel,
Dr Pala and Dr Tim Lavery will incur private fees except for:

  •  Patients with pensioner’s card
  •  Patients with health care card
  •  Patients under disability pension
  •  Patients under 16 years old
  •  Patients with pressing financial circumstances. Please discuss billing
with your doctor, and we are willing to accommodate.

For this above matter, please present your health care card/pensioner so we
can continue to bulk bill you.
Dr Kichkin will personally inform her long-term patients with complex and
chronic medical conditions about the coming fees.
